1. What determines eligibility
Voluntary changes and cancellations depend on the purchased fare, airline conditions, timing, and any terms disclosed at booking. Some tickets may be refundable, non-refundable, changeable subject to a fee or fare difference, or eligible for travel credit.
“Non-refundable” does not remove refund rights that apply by law. Review the ticket rules and complete price before purchase, and ask Rise Buy Fly to explain anything unclear.
2. Airline cancellations and significant changes
For qualifying flights to, from, or within the United States, an airline cancellation or significant change can create a refund right when the traveler declines the changed service, alternative travel, and other offered compensation, under the applicable U.S. Department of Transportation requirements.
If Rise Buy Fly is the merchant of record for a transaction, it must meet the applicable refund obligations for ticket agents. The party shown as the merchant on the payment statement is important. A statutory refund right is not made dependent solely on an airline’s discretionary approval.
See the U.S. Department of Transportation refund guidance for the current rules and conditions.
3. Voluntary cancellation, changes, and no-shows
If a flight operates as booked and you choose to cancel, the fare rules and applicable law determine any refund or credit. Changes may involve a fare difference, airline charge, and a separately disclosed service fee.
No-show rules can reduce the remaining value of a ticket. Contact the travel provider promptly if plans change. We do not publish a blanket promise of free cancellation or free changes.
The U.S. airline 24-hour reservation/refund requirement does not automatically apply to bookings through travel agents. Any applicable agent cancellation arrangement must be explained before purchase.
4. Separate service fees
Rise Buy Fly may charge a separately disclosed service or processing fee for a booking or later assistance. Its amount and refund conditions must be explained before you authorize that service.
Agency service fees and airline charges are distinct. A fee condition cannot override a mandatory legal refund entitlement. Submission of the website inquiry itself does not take payment.
5. Travel credits and vouchers
Where a credit or voucher is offered, review its expiry, passenger restrictions, permitted use, route conditions, and any fare difference. Where law gives you a monetary refund right, you should be informed of that right and the conditions of any alternative before making a choice.
6. Processing and payment method
Refunds that are due must be processed within the timeframe required by applicable law. When no specific legal deadline applies, timing depends on the transaction and relevant provider procedures. We do not promise one universal refund date.
A monetary refund normally follows the original payment method unless law or a lawful agreement requires another method. The team should explain who is processing your refund and any required steps.
